Supervision and Supervisory Billing

Build Experience While Working Toward Licensure

Our supervisory billing model may be appropriate for prelicensed LPCCs who want to gain clinical experience working with Medicaid clients while building a caseload and progressing toward professional licensure.

Through this arrangement, eligible clinicians may provide services under an approved supervisory and billing structure while receiving guidance related to clinical care, documentation, Medicaid requirements, ethical practice, and private-practice operations.

Supervisory Billing May Include

  • Guidance in developing and managing a caseload

  • Training related to Medicaid documentation and compliance

  • Support with treatment planning and clinical documentation

  • Administrative and clinical consultation

  • Private-practice implementation guidance

  • Oversight consistent with applicable professional and payer requirements

  • Assistance understanding the responsibilities of practicing under supervision
