Play Therapy
Play therapy is a developmentally appropriate, evidence-based approach to helping children express their thoughts, feelings, and experiences through play— their natural language. Rather than relying on verbal communication alone, play therapy allows children to process emotions, build coping skills, and work through challenges in a safe and supportive environment.
Using toys, art, games, and imaginative play, a trained therapist helps children explore their inner world, improve emotional regulation, strengthen relationships, and develop problem-solving skills. Play therapy can be especially helpful for children experiencing anxiety, trauma, behavioral issues, grief, or major life changes.
At our practice, we tailor play therapy to meet each child’s unique needs, helping them grow in resilience, confidence, and emotional well-being.
