Michelle Van Winkle, MA, LPCC
I grew up in the Kansas City area and have lived in Colorado with my family since 2018. I’ve been happily married since 2006 and am a proud mom to three wonderful children. For ten years, I had the privilege of being a foster parent—a role that deeply shaped my heart and perspective.
Since earning my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Emporia State University in 2006, I’ve worked in a variety of human services roles and have also been a full-time parent and foster parent. These experiences have grown my compassion and strengthened my desire to walk alongside others in their healing journey.
In 2025, I earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Colorado Christian University and became a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC). I have also completed training in Play Therapy.
In my work as a therapist, I’m passionate about creating a safe and empowering space where clients can move toward healing, growth, and integration.
When I’m not working, you’ll most likely find me spending time with my family and friends—hiking, camping, playing board games, or tending to my garden.
